Our speaker is Kelli Dahl, who will be presenting on occupant thermal comfort. She will cover factors effecting thermal comfort including radiant temperature, metabolic rate, and others. The presentation will cover ASHRAE 55 methods and explore ASHRAE RP1515 (reduced minimum airflow and effect on occupant comfort), as well as ASHRAE RP1546 (expansion of ADPI). The presentation will also provide design examples for how to use the new ADPI charts and method.
Kelli Dahl is the Application Engineering Manager for GRD and Critical Environment Products. She has a decade of industry experience focusing on air distribution products including displacement and underflow systems in addition to the GRD and Critical Environments products she currently oversees. Kelli also serves as the Treasurer for her local ASHRAE Chapter. She has her degree in Mechanical Engineering for the University of Manitoba.
